WEEX P2P Merchant Guidelines

These guidelines set out the key rules and standards of conduct for WEEX P2P merchants to ensure a safe, fair, and trustworthy trading environment for all users.
General rules
- Always trade with honesty, respect, and fairness.
- Ensure all ad details, including price and quantity, are accurate before publishing.
- Complete payments, release crypto, and respond to users promptly. Only use payment methods that you have advertised and that are supported by the WEEX platform.
- Do not cancel orders without a valid reason or file abusive appeals.
- Merchant aliases must not include "WEEX", bank names, payment method names, or any sensitive terms.
Trading rules
- Payments and receipts
- The account holder name of your payment method must match the name used for identity verification on the WEEX platform. If the names do not match, contact customer support as soon as possible.
- When receiving funds, if the counterparty's bank account name does not match their verified name on WEEX, do not release the crypto. You may request a refund, and any related payment fees must be covered by the counterparty. Reporting such cases to WEEX is strongly recommended.
- When making payments, if the recipient uses an unverified account, you may cancel the order and report the transaction to WEEX.
- Asset security
- Merchants are strictly prohibited from participating in any transactions involving illegal funds.
- If a user reports that their bank account has been frozen after receiving your payment, you must actively cooperate with WEEX by providing relevant supporting documents. If your own bank account is frozen due to issues caused by the counterparty, immediately contact local law enforcement and WEEX customer support.
- If you use illegal digital assets or unlawful funds and cause legal risks or financial losses to WEEX or its users, WEEX reserves the right to revoke your merchant status, restrict all platform activities, and confiscate your security deposit.
- Operational rules
- Carefully review the P2P Merchant Guide before conducting any transactions.
- WEEX does not encourage merchants to trade with users outside the WEEX P2P platform. Any losses resulting from off-platform transactions are your sole responsibility. Merchants are strictly prohibited from sharing personal contact information (such as social media accounts or messaging app IDs) in advertisements, trading terms, or auto-replies.
- If the counterparty fails to release the cryptocurrency within 15 minutes after payment is completed, first attempt to communicate with them. If there is no response, submit an appeal for resolution by P2P customer support.
- Do not initiate small test transfers to a user's bank account without their prior consent.
- Do not post links to third-party platforms in the "Comments" or "Auto-reply" sections, especially links to other exchanges or P2P/OTC platforms.
- WEEX reserves the right to hide or delist your advertisements without prior notice in the event of any guideline violations.
- Disqualification
WEEX reserves the right to revoke merchant status if any of the following occur:
- Refusing to cooperate with the customer support team during the resolution of disputed orders.
- Charging users any form of additional fees or commissions beyond the agreed trade.
- Inducing users to conduct transactions outside of the official WEEX platform.
- Disclosing or leaking sensitive user information, including names, contact details, and addresses.
- Spreading false information or engaging in actions that damage the reputation of the WEEX platform.
- Employing unethical or improper tactics to gain a competitive advantage.
- Operating multiple merchant accounts to disrupt the normal trading activities of others or to freeze their assets.
- Receiving a high volume of negative feedback or complaints from users.
- Using vulgar, insulting, or offensive language when communicating with users or customer support.
