Order Book

An order book is a digital list of buy and sell orders for a specific asset, such as a cryptocurrency, organized by price level. It represents the interest from buyers (bids) and sellers (asks) in the market at any given time. The order book provides transparency into the depth of the market, showing how much of an asset is available for sale at each price point and how much buyers are willing to pay. Most cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance and Coinbase, use order books to facilitate trading. An order book helps traders understand the supply and demand dynamics for an asset and make informed trading decisions.
